You can help us build our local community of bloggers!
Are you an Indiana blogger? You aren't alone. The 2008 Indiana Blogger Census is one step in the right direction of making it easier for Indiana blogs and bloggers to be found and find each other.
What do you want me to do?
Two things: first, complete the census so we can add you to the growing list of Indiana bloggers and help get your blog more attention and publicity. Second, tell other bloggers you know to do the same. Write a blog post about the census, mention it at your next meetup/tweetup, etc.
Why should I?
Several reasons:
- Community. With your permission, we'll add your blog details to the new version of the Blog Indiana website which will publicize your blog in ways that help find you relevant and local readers.
- Knowledge. We will be publishing the results of the census, in aggregate, once we are finished. This should provide some much needed information about the local blogging community and what it is doing.
- Growth. We plan to conduct this census every year to monitor and learn about our local blogging community. Not much data exists on local and hyper local blogging communities and this is a start.
